The Field Reduction series of pendants examines the contrast between
outward expressions of success and valor and the resulting internal
perspective. Two examples of icons of success are presented, in the form of
traditional military medals. They come paired with miniature replicas of
themselves with slight variations. The third example remains a more
primitive expression of a war trophy, a subtle example of cause and effect.
